What is Design Thinking?

Design Thinking is a human centered and collaborative approach to solve complex problems. It demands a consequent feedback-loops between solution creators and the targeted users. Ideas and solutions are being made visible as early as possible in form of simple prototypes. This eases dialog and learning. Potential users can test solutions long before market introduction. By that Design Thinking produces practical user centered innovations.

The iterative process is composed from the following main stages:

Join an international team of Austrian, Romanian and Czech innovators who will share their experience from many projects across Europe. During the two days Julia, Martin, Mihai and Christina will work with you on several specific topics creating real innovations. You will learn Design Thinking experiencing it, led by people who really implemented Design Thinking and Innovation projects.

What are you going to learn?

  • The Design Thinking philosophy and process
  • Tools on each of the Design Thinking steps
  • Tips and tricks from the practice

You will develop solutions together with us. This is not a training, it is a workshop where we will apply DT at a real topic and together, in a team, we will develop prototypes. All methodologies and tools applied are in line with IDEO, Hasso Plattner Institute and d.school of Design Thinking from Stanford.
